Born in New York City and raised in Upstate New York, Melissa has lived in New Jersey for the past 20 years. Outside of her career, she enjoys long beach days, cooking, salsa music, and giving back through animal advocacy. She currently runs an informal cat rescue in her neighborhood, with hopes of launching a nonprofit in the future.
