Gianpiero (Gian) Careddu brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in banking and financial services to his role as a Financial Representative. Throughout his career, Gian has focused on building lasting relationships, supporting business growth, and helping individuals and organizations work toward their financial goals.
Prior to joining WAG, Gian served as Division Executive and First Senior Vice President at Flagstar Bank, where he oversaw more than 70 branches across five markets throughout the New York metropolitan area. His extensive background in business development, relationship management, and executive leadership has provided him with a strong understanding of the financial priorities and challenges facing individuals, families, and business owners.
Today, Gian leverages his experience to help clients identify their financial priorities, evaluate protection needs, and explore insurance solutions aligned with their individual circumstances and long-term objectives. He works with a diverse range of clients, including business owners and entrepreneurs, established professionals and executives, individuals approaching retirement, and young professionals and growing families.
His areas of focus include life insurance protection, business protection and continuity considerations, retirement-related protection needs, and helping families prepare for important financial milestones. Gian takes a relationship-driven approach, emphasizing education, open communication, and a thorough understanding of each client's unique needs.
A lifelong New Yorker, Gian was raised in Queens and currently resides in Whitestone. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has remained actively involved in his community, including longtime volunteer leadership with a local youth soccer organization. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, dining, and traveling.
