Bina Patel

Bina Patel is a Financial Representative and Co-Founder of Patel & Sciabica Financial Group LLC, affiliated with Wealth Advisory Group LLC, an Agency of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. She has been in the financial services and insurance industry since 2003, helping individuals protect their income, build wealth, and prepare for a fulfilling retirement. Alongside her business partner, Joe Sciabica, Bina serves clients in over 20 states, with a strong presence among professionals in the IT, medical, and financial services industries.

Bina oversees all client relationship efforts within the partnership and leads the health insurance planning arm of the business. She brings a unique combination of warmth, strategic insight, and deep expertise—particularly in health insurance and income protection—to her clients. Her ability to connect with others and make them feel at ease has been key to the firm’s continued growth and national reach.

Her personal story reflects resilience and ambition. Bina immigrated to the United States at age 16 from Gujarat, India, with little English and two suitcases full of dreams. After completing her early education at a boarding school in Anand, she arrived in San Diego for her senior year of high school and began ESL classes. She continued on to earn her associate’s degree at community college, then transferred to a state university to study economics. Through hard work and perseverance, she quickly became fluent and found her place in the financial industry. Since 2006, Bina has been living and working on the East Coast.

Bina is an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and Asian Women in Business. She is also a founding member of Pitch, an organization devoted to helping women entrepreneurs develop their growing businesses, and serves as a board member of the Asian American Alliance, where she supports fellow Asian American advisors. Her dedication to mentorship and community building is a hallmark of her career.

Outside of work, Bina finds joy in preparing traditional dishes to preserve her cultural heritage, jogging the scenic hills near her home, spending time with family and friends, and exploring historic towns throughout Europe. She teaches dance at the Mahwah Hindu Samaj Temple and lives in Warwick, NY, with her husband, Ankit, and their beloved Cavapoo, Vasco.
